🇺🇸 SDN - Soni  ( Madrid, 1979) is a Spanish visual artist based in Mallorca. 

Her artistic sensibility developed early in Madrid through frequent visits to the Prado Museum, where she discovered the visionary universe of Hieronymus Bosch. 

At the age of twenty she moved to Mallorca, where the Mediterranean landscape, the sea, and a life close to nature became a lasting source of inspiration. After several years living in Germany, she returned to the island and began dedicating herself fully to painting. 

Since 2019 she has developed her practice through training in drawing, figurative painting, and portraiture with different mentors. 

Working across figurative and abstract languages, SDN explores body, nature, memory, and emotional presence through painting, using color as a vital and expressive force. 

Based in Spain - Balearic Islands.

Su sensibilidad artística se desarrolló tempranamente en Madrid gracias a sus frecuentes visitas al Museo del Prado, donde descubrió el universo visionario de El Bosco.

A los veinte años se trasladó a Mallorca, donde el paisaje mediterráneo, el mar y una vida en contacto con la naturaleza se convirtieron en una fuente de inspiración constante. Tras varios años viviendo en Alemania, regresó a la isla y comenzó a dedicarse por completo a la pintura.

Desde 2019 ha perfeccionado su práctica artística mediante la formación en dibujo, pintura figurativa y retrato con diferentes mentores.

Trabajando con lenguajes figurativos y abstractos, SDN explora el cuerpo, la naturaleza, la memoria y la presencia emocional a través de la pintura, utilizando el color como fuerza vital y expresiva.

🇩🇪 SDN - Soni (Madrid, 1979) ist eine spanische bildende Künstlerin, die heute auf Mallorca lebt und arbeitet. 

Ihre Faszination für Kunst begann bereits in der Kindheit und wurde durch zahlreiche Besuche im

Prado-Museum in Madrid geprägt, wo sie eine tiefe Bewunderung für das visionäre Werk von Hieronymus Bosch entwickelte. 

Im Alter von zwanzig Jahren zog sie nach Mallorca. Die mediterrane Landschaft, das Meer und das Leben in enger Verbindung mit der Natur beeinflussten ihre Wahrnehmung der Welt und verstärkten ihren Wunsch, sich künstlerisch auszudrücken. 

Nach mehreren Jahren in Deutschland kehrte sie auf die Insel zurück und begann, sich ganz der Malerei zu widmen. Seit 2019 vertieft sie ihre Praxis

durch Studien in Zeichnung, figurativer Malerei und Porträtmalerei bei verschiedenen Mentoren. Ihre Werke bewegen sich zwischen Abstraktion, figurativen Elementen, Landschaft und organischen Formen.

Das mediterrane Licht, das Meer und die Natur Mallorcas durchziehen ihre Bilder auf subtile Weise. 
Farbe spielt eine zentrale Rolle in ihrem Schaffensprozess. Sie versteht Farbe als vitale Kraft, die Emotion, Energie und Präsenz vermitteln kann. 

Durch ihre Malerei entstehen Bildräume, in denen Körper, Natur und Erinnerung aufeinandertreffe.
